Bedford Rowing Club Annual Dinner, 28 September 2001
In the last days of his five year term as President of Bedford Rowing Club, John Smith (for it is he)
was presented with a watercolour of the Club. This painting is probably the first one to show three gables
on the clubhouse following the extension, which John had a major part in overseeing.
John was pleased to announce a new sponsorship deal with
Charles Wells, the local brewery. Charles Wells have
been very good friends of the club - and many other local sports clubs - for a number of years now and we
are delighted to receive their support for a further five years.
After screening the variety of photos, a few have made it through that probably won't get me sued, so here goes...
