Bedford Rowing Club has swapped the river for the open road with a brand new Freelander 2, courtesy of Marshall Land Rover.
Martin Gyford, dealer principal at Marshall Land Rover, commented: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring Bedford Rowing Club and are delighted they have chosen a Land Rover to transport their fleet. The Freelander 2 is one of the most versatile vehicles in the world. Whether it’s helping transport rowers to long distance events or towing boats to international competitions, it is a supremely capable workhorse.”
The Club President Dave Catlin, one of the first to drive the new vehicle said: “This is a superb vehicle and we are extremely grateful to Marshall Land Rover for their sponsorship. We hope that this is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with them The Freelander 2 will make transporting our boats much easier and we will certainly make an entrance in such an eye-catching vehicle.”
