Womens Head of the River Race - Saturday 3rd March 2001

So, the Womens' squad (and a hardy bunch of supporters, of course) survived a chilly early start to the Women's Eights Head on 3 March. The poor camera was dazzled by the early morning sunshine at Hammersmith, but never mind; here's an out-of-focus blur to (sort of) prove that we were there...

The results overall (BRC finished equal 49th) and by event (BRC =14/55 in Senior 2) are now up. Well done to Sara Reay, easily winning the Veteran Pennant in 43rd place overall with the multi-club entry and Sharon Noble, finishing in 22nd with DAME ALICE HIGH SCH/ NOTTS COUNTY RA/ QUEENS PARK. The 'other place' finished in 67th.
