As part of our current programme to build an extension to the clubhouse, an area of the ground floor of the extension was opened in 1995 as a dedicated gym. Fundraising efforts from grants, donations, events and profits from the social club have been used to equip the club with an enviable range of the latest equipment on and off the water.

These facilities are available to rowing members at all times. Unlike certain other clubs, Bedford Rowing Club own and manage all of their own training equipment and facilities; once you have paid your subscriptions you are free to use the gym and the ergos as many times as you wish (subject to 'booking in' to a rota system during busy periods) without further charge.
