After the fire that completely gutted the building in 1984, the gable areas of the clubhouse were converted into useable rooms. After a generous donation from the family of the late Lord Godber, the committee room was re-decorated and named the Godber Room. This facility is ideal for small meetings and receptions. It is available for hire to businesses during the day and clubs/societies in the evenings.
