We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

The poster is available here, as are the Local Event Rules.

We have just been informed by Bedford Borough Council that it is highly likely that the towpath between County Bridge (Prebend Street) and Queen’s Bridge (the footbridge at the far end of the marshalling area) will be closed on Sunday 13th April.  This is to permit work on a new footbridge, and the area will resemble a building site. A map, showing the closure, is shown below.

As a result, the towpath between the above bridges will be closed to the public. It will not be possible for coaches to get to the marshalling area, or to cycle with their crews for the first quarter of the course.  The Council have kindly allowed our marshals to have access to the closed section of the towpath. Please do NOT attempt to cross the barriers at either end – failure to observe this restriction will result in penalties being awarded to your crews.

In addition, please be aware that St Mary’s Gardens (the section of towpath opposite Star Club) is also closed to the public, and to our marshals. Thank you for your co-operation – we look forward to seeing your crews on the 13th.

Entries are also open for Bedford Amateur Regatta (organised by Bedford Regatta committee) on Saturday 10th May.

Please put Bedford Sprint Regatta in your diaries for Sunday 13th July.
